About Coons Grove Nursery
Coon’s Grove is 200 picturesque acres of nursery, forest, and prairie nestled along the Little Vermilion River in LaSalle County, IL.

When the historic Coon’s Grove Christmas Tree Farm came on the market in 1997, we jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. We had been in the landscape industry since 1989 and felt it would be the ideal place to start a nursery. As the Christmas trees were taken out we replaced the fields with nursery stock. Today the nursery is about 35 acres, growing more then thirty varieties of shade trees, ornamentals, and evergreens ........no shrubs.

We not only dig our own nursery stock, but custom dig for other nurseries, Christmas tree farms, and home owners.

We currently have two tree spades : 36" tight-cone Caretree - capable of digging down to a 24" ball, and a 42" semi-truncated Caretree to handle 32" - 42" balls. The spades are mounted on a 185B New Holland skid steer.
